Clinical Experience
Treatment Duration:
Most therapeutic programs range from 8 to 12 weeks, though services can be extended based on clinical need or client preference.
School-Based Counseling:
Weekly mental health counseling at multiple schools, focusing on emotional regulation, academic stress, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics.
Medical Collaborations:
Support clients with medical conditions who require mental health care as part of a broader treatment plan, often coordinating with primary care providers or specialists when necessary.
Flexibility & Extensions:
Recognize that healing isn’t linear—clients may request to extend services, and exceptions can be made based on clinical evaluation.
Working with teens
Before meeting with any minor, I require an initial assessment with the parent (s) or guardian(s). Then, I will meet with your child individually and begin developing a treatment plan. Many teens can initially be resistant to therapy, so I try my best to create a safe environment where they can openly discuss their experiences. I work hard to maintain the confidentiality of my adolescent clients and invite parents into sessions when it is clinically recommended or desired.
